Ozzy was a rescued chinchilla and truly part of the family. He was the most gentle animal I have ever encountered. He would sit in my lap and watch movies, have a little nibble of popcorn. He slept on the pillow next to me the last few months. He was there for both my mom and I and we loved him like he was a person. He died this morning in my arms.
