Little Miss "Lilly" came into my life when she was 15 months old. From the first day she was attached to me and followed me, slept with me and loved me. I fell in love with her, the way she seemed to always know when I was sad, she would cuddle to me. The thing I miss the most is the way she would put her face next to mine and give me a hug like that. She done that often and sometimes I would wake up with her face pressed against mine. She was so cute and everyone that got to know her loved her. She was always fast as lightning, she couldnt be caught unless she wanted to be caught. She would dart out the door at the slightest crack and before you could twitch an eye she was a flash out the door. I had company over for Thanksgiving and everyone coming in and out of the house, she bolted out of the door unknown to anyone. I got a knock on the door, a woman told me that a little dog was lying in the road in front of the house. I ran to find my little miss Lilly still warm body laying in the road. I picked her up and found she was gone. I cried and hugged her and couldnt put her down. She was like a child to me and I loved her very much from deep in my heart and I know that she felt the same way about me.I didnt get a chance to say goodbye to my beloved little "Lilly". I am going to miss her, my life wont be the same without her. My heart has been touched by her and Ill never be the same again. Ill never forget you Little Miss "Lilly"...You were more than a little dog to me, You were my companion and friend.. "I Love You"!
