Bella was abandoned by her owners when they moved to another town.  They left her sitting on the pavement and just drove off; she was 12 years old.  During the years that she lived across the road from me we made friends with each other and she came regularly to see me for food and attention.  Therefore, claiming her as my own was easy to do.  Her previous owners never let her indoors even in the dead of winter so, getting her inside was not an easy task.  Given time she accepted all the comforts of life in a house and showed such gratitude... even animals know when someone has done something special for them.  



Bella lived until she was 18 and after months of chronic illness the day came when it was time for her to pass away.  She was a big fluffy hairy ball of a cat and there was more hair than cat.  Bella was with us for six years and just like all our other cats awarded us with love and affection.  She had the most beautiful face and I miss her every day.  



Bella, was the first of three pets that we've lost this year: Tyke died in June and yesterday Sooty died, too.  We love and miss all of them so very, very much and pray they are in heaven together.  I miss my Beautiful Bella, a very lovely and special pussycat who survived years of fending mostly for herself.  A true surviver!  XXX
