Kubota was Alex's best friend. He was born here in our house of Sassy and Scoobie, Alex's other dogs. Of all the puppies born that day, only Kubota did not want to leave for a new home.  So Alex kept him, and he lived here for 4 years.  Kubota was hit by a car, and crawled home to say GoodBye to Alex and show Alex how much he loved him. It was a sorrowful day, probably the most sorrowful in Alex's life. Kubota was with us for too short a time, and we miss him.
