Amiele I know you weren't here for very long, but it didn't take very long to fall in love with you. You were affectionate, vocal, intelligent, and altogether a wonderful friend. I always enjoyed our trips to the park, when I let you run around on your leash. You used to be so energetic and curious when you were younger, and it was difficult to see you struggling towards the end. You were such a wonderful little animal, you didn't deserve the short life span of your lot. I saw that you fully enjoyed it though. It's as if you were a candle, and you burnt so bright and with such vigor that you burned yourself out too soon. I'll miss you all the more because of it. I hope you understood how much you were loved, not just by me but by Matty too. He grew attached to you very quickly. I think you were his favorite. I know your end was not what you deserved, I did the most human thing I could for you though. I could not agree to take you home and see you go on until the tumors you had completely filled your lungs and liver. I hope you're still watching me now, please wait for me at the bridge.
