My sweet Cleo-Leo: words cannot describe how much your dad and I miss you. I'll never forget the day when we picked you out at the pet store. You were a fluff ball of sweetness, snoozing away in your cage. I told dad that I wanted to adopt you and he said: "just remember, she's going to get bigger and have alot of fur!" I said: "the furrier, the better" So we adopted you and drove to your new forever home. You sat in my lap and made all kinds of little "chirping" noises. You loved your new home, but made it very clear that you were the new Queen of the house. There are so many wonderful memories of you: how you had an affinity for water, loved getting baths, exploring and sunbathing in the backyard, snuggling up next to me in bed; flopping on your back so that I could rub your belly. I am sorry my sweet Cleo that you got so sick. We tried to help you in every possible way, but it wasn't enough. It was clear that you were having more bad days than good days lately, so as our final act of love, we decided to let you go, so that you could be healthy once again and run and play like you used to. We love you Cleo and will never forget all the joy you have brought to our lives for the past 14 years.
