Beckett came to us by fate. I was searching on PetFinder, and Tom spotted him first. We immediately went to the Monroe Co Shelter to look at him and decided right then and there he was ours. It's lucky we got there when we did because someone was right behind us for him too. Although his accident set him back, it did not stop him from living life to the very most. He loved hunting for mice and would spend an hour staring at a spot if he thought one was there. He would also chase birds. He definitely had a zest for life. Beckett had the best smiles. He was also very smart and knew exactly what you said. He had full body stretches and yawns, and would scratch his back by scooting upside down on the carpet.
