He was my Handsome Boy. I talked him out from under that dirty old trailer on what was soon to be the 2nd expansion of the Katy Trail on my knees and took him home. He was my little cat soul mate. He was a lover, a persistent begger of food and petting, a dog-bed hog, a baby possum thief, a patient playmate to my son and daughter, a loud pain-in-the-ass in the wee hours of the morning, a slobberer, and my best friend. I wasn't ready. I wasn't ready to be without him, to live a life in this house and this neighborhood without him. He was my Bill. With his girly paws and big ol' belly, he was mine. I love you so much Bill. Life won't be the same.
