Cameo was adopted from the Washington County Humane Society in April of 2004. At the time she was 14. I first saw her at a local Petsmart. I submitted my application and interviewed with the great staff at the Washington County Humane Society. Soon afterwards I got the call that the adoption was a go. Cameo was groomed and had a little red/white and black scarf on when I picked her up. She was so pretty. When she was presented to my Mom, it was like two souls found each other. Years passed and she became part of the family. Cameo was loving. Caring. She loved to be with people. Around people. As time went on, she became very ill. As her health declined, the decision was made to put her to sleep. It was the most difficult day of our lives. She will always be with us. Our memories will never go away.
