Tyson was never an ordinary cat. He always used to make funny squawks instead of meows and would sleep in the most awkward positions. But Tyson was the most loving and loyal companion that I'd ever come across. He would always wait patiently by doors when he wanted them open and would never make a sound, even if he had been waiting there for hours. But the funny thing was that when the door was opened he would often forget why he wanted to leave, so he'd walk out and come straight back in again. Tyson had a very long life and was very healthy for his age until his last year. This was when he was diagnosed with an over-active thyroid gland which made his heart beat too fast. Soon after, he got arthratis in his back legs and found it very difficult to jump or run. Near the end though his condition got worse. He was not eating, his heart-beat was out of control again. Then on Friday 16th January 2004 he suffered quite a bad stroke, which left him depressed and virtually unable to walk. By the time Monday came around we could not live seeing Tyson so unhappy and decided to put him out of his misery and was put to sleep on 19th January 2004. We'll never forget you Tyson and we know that we'll see you again one day.
