Dear Pete, What a good, gentle, kind and special soul you are. I found you as a kitten living in a junkyard. I saw you through a chain link fence. You came home with me and trusted right from the start. You loved having your head scratched and you especially loved to be brushed. You'd talk every once in a while in a soft tone that mirrored your calm, gentle demeanor. You were never demanding or upset about anything. I love you Pete...and I always will. Mommy will carry you in her heart for the rest of her life...you died on this day and gave Mommy one last gift...rain. Lots of rain. Thank you sweet baby boy Pete.
