Old Bud became my pal in September of 2001 when he was given to me after a dispute between him and a "senior" cat in his prior home. Contrary to finding him difficult, I found him to be very bright, affectionate, and loyal. He made friends with people very quickly, not so quickly with other cats, though. He found a favorite spot, both indoors and out and could be dependably found in one or the other at almost any time. Surprisingly playful for a male cat his age, he still had a little bit of kitten in him up until his last year. At the end, he was slowed by chronic renal failure, but medication helped and he had a lot more good days than bad. 



I'll miss you forever, old pal. Rest well.
