Arlo truly was a special cat for me. We shared a deep love for eachother, he always knew just when I needed him most; when I was sick he would lay with me and purr gently to comfort me, each time I was pregnant he knew before I did and would not leave me alone for a minute by kneeding my belly, purring loudly next to me and looking up at me sweetly. Arlo could hardly be in a different room than I, even if he was sitting in the window across the room or on the floor in the kitchen while I was cooking, he was there starely at me with those loverly eyes and purring away when I would talk to him, oh when I would talk to him! He love it when I spoke to him sweetly, he would turn his head side to side and just stare at me and purr, sometimes he just couldn't take it and would have to run to me to get some scratches and snuggles along with the sweet talk. I raised Arlo as a kitten and almost didn't pick him, he was a last minute change of heart. I guess it was that connection that we had that wouldn't let us leave without him. He was small with huge ears and feet, he grew into a large 21 pound baby. I loved how big he was, he was the perfect size to sleep with next to me and hold onto. At night we would lie in bed and I would talk to him and pet him while he purred and thanked me with those beautiful eyes. I truly love Arlo and miss him so much.
