Although you died after only after 10 days with us, the memories we made will always last forever in our hearts.I'm sorry we couldn't be better owners to you and it was partially our fault that we didn't watch over you carefully, and hence.... Do you know how happy we were when we first got you?I myself couldn't believe that I would actually keep a golden retriever. :) Sadly, our happiness was short-lived due to our carelessness... You added joy to our lives even though it was only very brief.I'd guess I should thank you also...your unexpected departure allowed me to have a sense of what it's like to lose something you loved and you taught me how to appreciate and treasure what I have now.It's ironic isn't it?People usually don't realize how much they really love someone or something until...he/she/it finally leaves them... If tears could build a stairway, and memories a lane, I’d walk right up to heaven, and bring you home again. Gone yet not forgotten, although we are apart, your spirit lives within me, forever in my heart. Once again, Golden, I'm sorry.Sorry for being an inexperienced owner and not being able to take better care of you, and sorry for being worried that your brother would be jealous and didn't spend much time with you.We've gotten your 'distant sister' and rest assured we will take care of her.
