Trigger was a rover for sure. He enjoyed the company of people but also must have loved meeting other animals because he was always snooping the woods around the Mill. His pals Shilo and Blue knew Trigger to be a great companion for play and safety as he led and chased them whenever the chance presented itself. Mink, Trigger's feline friend regarded him with your typical cat indifference but took comfort in his safety like the other smaller pets. Trigger did not like to be restrained by chains and ropes and would certainly let us know his disappointment when faced with being tied up. He had other designs for sure and this rope would only ruin his roaming plans for the day or night. He was surely the best friend that Gary Steeves had ever had. Just in case Gary had no time for his antics, Trigger would happily resort to his other source of love and affection, Jennifer, Gary's other best friend. If Trigger in any way could have answered the question when asked' " Can your life be better in any way?" 

He would certainly have said he simply has everything he needs to be happy and healthy. Possibly he would ask for more chipmunks in the world, if anything, as they provided him with endless tail-wagging pleasure as he rooted them out from roots and bushes on his jaunts to the forest. Trigger will be sadly missed by the many people who he had touched their hearts. Rest In Peace ole Fella.......
