I got Tank from a friend who had just lost his other ferret, Tink, to adrenal disease. The day I got Tank he bit me so hard that I had a bruise for 2 months. I forgave him immediately. After that he never bit anyone again. He always had kisses for me even when my original two wanted nothing to do with me. He always walked with an arched back and a little skip. He was a great companion for Huey and they loved to wrestle together. He helped Jaz with all his schemes. He loved all things shiny and would frequently be caught trying to steal a silver computer mouse and hide it under the bed. He was also my only fuzzy to stand up to and play with my dog, Val. 

In April of 2010 he was diagnosed with a urinary tract infection.  This is how we found out about his kidney failure. We tried for a month but his kidney problems didn't improve.  At the beginning of his sickness he still found comfort climbing into my coat sleeves. In the end, though, he didn't seem to find comfort or happiness in anything.  The night before we had to euthanize him, he fell over and didn't even try to get up. We weren't sure he would make it until morning.
