Draven was the love of our lives. He was a very special dog, who wanted nothing more than to love and be loved. As a young puppy, he was so energetic and rambunctious. He jumped on everyone for attention and wanted to play, play, play. He used to run around the yard and bark at all of the passersby. He did not realize how large he was. He thought that he was a lap dog and wanted to be in everyone's lap for love and attention. As he got older he calmed down quite a bit, but still loved to play. He constantly wanted to give us kisses and still wanted to climb into our lap. He was so cuddly and lovable. When he was lying on the floor, we would lie next to him and cuddle with him. One of his favorite things to do was bark at the television, nonstop. It drove us all crazy, of course now we miss that. I miss him looking through the window of the door waiting to greet us when we got home. I miss looking down and knowing that he is there, because he was always at our side. Life will never be the same without him. I just cannot believe that he is gone and I miss him so much that words cannot describe it.

Personal Notes

I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved Draven. There is an online pet loss support group that can be found at http://forums.delphiforums.com/GizmosGarden/ that you are welcome to visit. It requires signing up with Delphi Forums, but there is no charge. This is a place for you to get encouragement, support and understanding. We have been where you are now and would love to help if we can.

There is not a day that goes by that we do not think of you. There are no words to describe the impact that you had on our lives. You loved us unconditionally. I miss you so much. Until we meet again at the rainbow bridge.

Death is nothing at all, I have only slipped away into the next room. I am I and you are you. Whatever we were to each other we still are. Call me by my old familiar name, speak to me in the easy way you always used. Why should I be out of your mind because I am out of your sight. All is well, nothing is lost. One brief moment and all will be as it was before. Condolences from Dublin, Ireland.
