Asti' Spumanti', was a pure bred pedigreed Ocicat. He was born to Sire: C.H. Drum of Wild Spirits, Dam: D.P. Drum of Wild Spirits-Calling of D Bloods. He was the 4th of five kittens borne in the litter, He was also the "runt". Despite his small stature he was large in spirit. As a kitten he was know as "Sebastion" On Jan 8th 1993 God blessed that he was placed in the very capable hands of Anthony Tsar, Thus began a lifelong journey. Their bond was more than just pet & owner it became companion & best friends.

He was very intelligent, socialble and personable. He had a very distinct voice and mannerism. Time after time he had to be reminded that he was a cat. Everyone who had contact with him adored him. He was know as "The Little Leopard" & Big Band Asti'. He once appeared in a film and won several photo awards. He loved riding in cars, Trips to the park, Bird watching (& hunting). He loved music (as evidenced by him finding the source of any that was playing & laying next to it. He even watched Television at times. He loved steak, shrimp, chicken, ribs, tuna, salmon, hamburgers & yes even french fries.

He made his departure May 1, 2010 at 10:10 AM, He leaves to mourn and cherish his memory: A loyal and faithful companion Anthony Tsar Richards. Sister cats Isis and Tifa. and (Uncle) Mark Mattison of Ohio A stepbrother "Toto" & A sister "Duchess" preceded him in death, He will be sorely missed for years to come but never forgotten...

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

He was weary and Jesus bid him home to rest...

I am so sorry for the loss of your beautiful and beloved Asti. I can tell by the tribute you wrote that you two were very close. There is an online pet loss support group found at http://forums.delphiforums.com/GizmosGarden/ that you are welcome to visit. It requires signing up with Delphi Forums, but there is no charge. This is a place for you to get encouragement, support and understanding. We have been where you are now and would love to help if we can.

Gone Too Soon

Like a comet
Blazing 'cross the evening sky
Gone too soon

Like a rainbow
Fading in the twinkling of an eye
Gone too soon

Shiny and sparkly
And splendidly bright
Here one day
Gone one night

Like the loss of sunlight
On a cloudy afternoon
Gone too soon

Like a castle
Built upon a sandy beach
Gone too soon

Like a perfect flower
That is just beyond your reach
Gone too soon

Born to amuse, to inspire, to delight
Here one day
Gone one night

Like a sunset
Dying with the rising of the moon
Gone too soon
Gone too soon
