Nigel was a cuddly orange tabby cat. Very lovable and sweet. He would apoligize if he got into trouble ( ie, scratching the couch ) and come up and rub against your leg. It would make you feel bad for scolding him. He was very patient with kids. He would groom kittens like a parent, ( very parternal ). He was extremely domesticated to the point that he wouldn't eat any meat. Only his IAM's cat food. He was very picky. Unfortanely, Nigel came down with Fungal Pneumonia. He only showed the symptoms for about 4-6 weeks prior to his departure. We thought he had the common kitty cold ( ie, runny nose, sneezing ). At first the vet told us there was a probability of him having cancer. When we found out that he didn't, we were relieved because it meant that he had a fighting chance. To our great disappoinment, he left us 2 days after the news that he had Fungal Pneumonia ( a very rare upper respitory disease ). We love him, miss him, and he will always be in our hearts forever. May God bless his innocent spirit. Nigel, we love you! RIP, Derek, Jennie and Lara ( your family forever )
