Where do I begin....I got Irvin, from a friend, for Brandi. She picked his name after Michael Irvin, the Wide Receiver for the Dallas Cowboys. Irvin has been a truly wonderful cat. He learned the word "no" at an early age, even if sometimes he would ignore me or Brandi. He learned to say "hello" and would great you as soon as you came in the room. Sometimes he got curious with indoor plants and I'd come home and find dirt all over the place...He also like to sit in on the window sil or climb our screen door, just to set what was going on. He liked talking to the birds too. Within the past few years, he's gotten into NASCAR. He would come in our bar room and visit with our guests or just lay on the couch and listen/watch the race. He love children and would let them pull his tail without reacting out at them. He also loved it when Brandi would rub in between his ears on his forehead. She put him to sleep many a time with that. I never could get it just right and he'd just give me a look, like "what are you trying to do?" As he got older he became very sympathetic to others. If they were crying, he would come up to them and give a special "meow" to let that person know he was there for them, BUT if people were arguing and shouting, he had another special "meow" for that, that said "stop it!". There have been soooo many funny times with Irvin during his life and he's had his fair share of trauma from moving from house to house, getting locked in the garage (when we thought he had run away), and getting declawed. He was a trooper. There's soo much more to say, but since he just passed away yesterday, it's very hard to put all of my feelings down at this time. I encourage friends and family of Irvin to please add their stories and/or comments on here. Thank you
