Peddler was found in a bad part of Detroit, abandoned and starving. Someone turned him into a vet that we know. She called us to see if we wanted to adopt him, he was about 8 - 12 weeks old, and couldn't even stand or bark because he was so week. We took him and we loved him so much. He was the best watch dog and protected our house. He used to sleep with me when my husband traveled. He would just like being around me and was so loyal. The way he looked at me brings tears to my eyes. He would be by me outside when I did my gardening. When I would come home from work, he would be so happy. He was so sweet. I will miss him so much. We had to put him down because the doctor said he probably had cancer. He couldn't walk anymore and couldn't eat. So we put him down yesterday. We stayed with him and told him how much we loved him and petted him when the doctor put him to sleep. Now he's with my Dad who loved him so much too.I know we'll see them one day.
