Bullet is a German Shepherd born in Europe who became a member of the Chicago Police Department in 2001. He is certified in patrol work, tracking and narcotics. Bullet was always dependable and loyal and enjoyed going to work every day with his partner. He adjusted well to his retirement and loved staying home relaxing all day. He was a very special member of our family and will be missed and loved forever.

Bullet will definitely be missed, he was one of the best dogs I had ever met. He was more than a dog, he was a very special part of the Boivin family. I will miss him greeting me at the door and sitting by me and "talking" as I petted him. He was such a good boy. We will miss you! Bullet Rest in Peace. God Bless.

I will never forget the first time I came over and sat at your dining room table. I have to admit, I was scared when Bullet first came up to me, but before too long he rested his head on my lap!! Lee, Deb, Dixie and Bella, we are so sorry for your loss.
Love,
Mike, Maria, Elijah, Jolene,
Sophia and Isabella

Lee I know how you feel, I have been there and know I will soon be there again as Denny is 13 now. It is just not right that wonderful, loyal animals like Bullitonly live a relatively short time and the dregs of society that these noble K-9 Dogs have pursued and apprehended live to be 70 or more. If there was any justice German Shepards would live to 70. I remember one time when I was in about 2nd grade my Nun told the class that only people could go to heaven no Dogs or Cats. I
inquired about this as I knew that couldn't be true. When "sister" chastised me and told me there would be NO DOGs in Heaven I calmly told her "then I dont want to go to heaven I want to go where my dog goes". I got sent to see the priest over that one and he called for a meeting with my parents. At that meeting he told me that this was one of those very rare occassions when "Sister" was a little wrong and there was a very special place in Heaven for Dogs. I believe there is and I will see my dogs there.

We feel so bad about Bullet. He was a sweetheart. I know how hard this is. I am sure Bella and Dixie are missing him also. Boo looks for him every time we walk pass the house.Be strong and think of ALL the good memories he gave you.

Dear Deb and Lee, we were soo sad to hear about Bullet! Casey and Murphy even seemed sad to hear about their Chicago cousin. Our thoughts go out to you both and hope you feel our hugs across the miles. Love to all of you and hope Dixie and Bella help fill this void.
