We lost our beloved Charlie on January 27, 2010. In May of this year he would have been with us for 7 years. He loved chasing the kitties and playing with his various balls. Not to mention his sticks as well. He was taken from us entirely too soon, and very suddenly. Charlie would follow his daddy everywhere possible and would greet him at the door when he got home from work, expecting his treats of course. Charlie's mommy, would give him his dreaded baths but soften the blow with more of the goodies that he loved so much. She was also the one charged with cleaning up his "business" in the yard, a task which she clearly loved every second doing. (LOL) Charlie would often throw his ball at various members of the family when he wanted to play inside. When Charlie was a puppy, his mommy gated him in while they were outside so he could not run off while she did yard work. His 'kid' Kaylee (age 4 at that time) proceeded to teach him how to climb out of that cell, and he was never caged again. As a pup, he loved to bite at Kaylee's hair and tug and pull as we all laughed and laughed with her. Charlie made the move with us to various places in Pennsylvania until we finally bought a home almost 3 years ago. Charlie loved his yard and especially loved chasing the squirrels and bunnys that would wander into it occasionally. The point is, Charlie was a huge part of our family and we dearly miss him. But he will always be with us in our hearts and his ashes will be with us forever. When we visit the beach this summer, Charlie will be there with us. Every time we go onto our front porch, into our yard, or just sit in the living roon, Charliebear will be there. We love you buddy, you were a great friend and you are sorely missed. Daddy, Mommy and Kaylee.
