I don't have a picture - which is a shame because Milo was a beautiful tortoiseshell cat. I just happened on this site by accident, trying to find comfort somewhere.
Milo died as she lived most of her life, purring and in my arms. (I thank the vets at the Clarence Street Animal Hospital for being so great.)
She was a friend, she was a comfort, she was who I came home to on my worst and best days. I will never forget her, will always remember her beautifully plaintive meow and her loud, exuberant purr.
Milo, for your sake and because you deserve it, I hope there's a heaven.
Personal Notes

If you are the same mother/father of Milo that entered your kind words for me, I thank you very much. I'd also like to take this opportunity to express my condolences for your loss too. It's been nearly 3 weeks since my Ashyse died in my arms & I am still having a very difficult time. But if that's the price of having had so much love from her than it's totally worth it, however painful it is. Thanx again & my best to you.

Hello Ashyse's mommy,
Yes, I am who wrote you a little note about Ashyse. Thank-you for your comforting words at a time when I really need them. I, too, miss Milo terribly but you're right: if it's the price to pay for having had so much love from her for so long, it's well worth it. Please take care. And thank-you again.

Hi Milo's Momma. It's been nearly 7 wks for me. 'Tweety' misses her terribly though, but we're trying very hard to comfort each other. My baby sister (we've never really been that close) was here for me when I needed her & since we've been building a relationship & I've just found out she's expecting. I'm so excited for her & I'm so glad that the passing of my Ashyse is what brought us together so that I can enjoy my new little niece or nephew. Hope things are well with you. Take care.
