Keyla was  part Lab and Basset Hound, so they say. She was the sweetest dog you could ask for.  We got her from the Human Society in our town when she was just 8 weeks old. We adopted Keyla in October 1988, and in February of 1989 we had our daughter Katie. Keyla loved the baby, but hated all of the baby things. She chewed up anything that belonged to the baby.   I had had enough and we returned her to the Human Society. After a week my husband went back and had to buy her back again.  It was the best thing that happened to her and us.  She was in our family for 15 1/2 years.  We loved her very much. Keyla shared her home with the 3 of us, and 3 cats.  Everyone misses her very much.  I miss that wagging tail and warm welcome when I come home at night.  She will forever be in our hearts. We miss you so much Keyla.
