My Beloved Missy

When granny and grandpa went to buy you

All they could see was this little red puppy 

Underneath a house and covered in sand

How could this little pint size thing live in such a mess? 

You were tiny and would fit in the palm of my hand

But you didn’t let size stop you – you could keep up with the

Big boys!  Our lab Rambo was no challenge for you!!



Another fond memory of puppy hood was when

David and Susan came over to see the new baby..

You were on the bed and was so excited to see 

Mommy’s new friends – so excited that you 

Tinkled on the bed – well thank goodness you grew Out of that!  

But you always had wet kisses for everyone who came over

And oh how you loved the ears!  



It is a wonder you made it so far in life

Every time we would open the door – you would try

And run across the street to see Granny…

And yes you made it several time

But the Angels were always on your side – because you

Always came back to Mommy



We shared a lot in life

You helped me through several challenges and heartaches

You were everything to me

You were my shadow

Every step I made – you made with me

A loyal companion and friend

That will NEVER be replaced!

Only remembered fondly

And I will cherish every memory of you!!
