My Deceased girlfriend and I adopted Pepper in 1993. He was hurt and he won over our hearts.

Pepper was a very good friend. He was a unique Chihuahua, he had a big dogs personality. He loved the outdoors.

He loooked going to the beach with us and would go into the water with us. He was my buddy, he loved hunting for rabbits and gophers.

He liked sleeping in the bed with me. His little brother Chili (a brindle Chihuahua) has been with him for the past 16 years. Chili will also miss him.

We loved Pepper and always brought a smile to me. We both shared the sadness and the loss of his mommy Kim Clayton (my girlfriend. I hope he is with her in heaven running and playing with her in heaven.

I will always remember, love and miss Pepper. He is now running along the beach and playing with Kim Clayton (his mommy.

Pepper I love you

Personal Notes

I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my Buster dog yesterday as well. May your heart heal quickly, but never forget. God bless.

Death is nothing at all, I have only slipped away into the next room. I am I and you are you. Whatever we were to each other we still are. Call me by my old familiar name, speak to me in the easy way you always used. Why should I be out of your mind because I am out of your sight. All is well, nothing is lost. One brief moment and all will be as it was before. Condolences from Dublin Ireland on the loss of Pepper.

“I will lend to you for a while,
a Pup,” God said,
for you to love him while he lives
and mourn for him when he's dead.
Maybe for twelve or fourteen years,
or maybe two or three
But will you, 'till I call him back,
take care of him for me.

He'll bring his charms to gladden you
and should his stay be brief,
you'll always have his memories
as solace for your grief.
I cannot promise he will stay,
since all from earth return
But there are lessons taught below
I want this pup to learn.

I've looked the whole world over
in search of teachers true,
and from the folk that crowd's life's land
I have chosen you.
Now will you give him all your love
nor think the labour vain,
nor hate me when I come to take my Pup back again.

I fancied that I heard them say
"Dear Lord Thy Will be Done,"
For all the joys this Pup will bring,
the risk of grief we'll run.
