Thor was a Scottish Deerhound. he was a dog where you either loved the breed or hated the breed, to me i loved the size and how gentle they are. He was gone in 24 hours and oh how much i miss him. He was only two years old and he passed away the day before his third birthday. I was so upset i couldn't go out for a week with my other dog, i had to take her elsewere. when i finally saw the other dogowners they all cried and said they were very upset that something that terrible had wiped you out in the space of 24 hours. I still remember and i still see the two trees you used to lie inbetween and wait for me to throw the ball for Ellie (my other dog) and then you would pounce on her. You were so important that family members would never book a party unless they knew we had arrangments for you because before you came Ellie went everywhere as she was a specialaly trained dog to help me out, as i had a severe back problem.

Personal Notes

I am very upset for my beautiful baby and i will miss him for ever i still own your collar and it hanges still on the hook with your leads (a show lead and just an ordianary lead). Your bowl has never been moved of the doggie bench on which you ate your food, twice a day.

Death is nothing at all, I have only slipped away into the next room. I am I and you are you. Whatever we were to each other we still are. Call me by my old familiar name, speak to me in the easy way you always used. Why should I be out of your mind because I am out of your sight. All is well, nothing is lost. One brief moment and all will be as it was before. Condolences from Dublin Ireland.
