Chinook was a loyal and loving companion to Diona, Jim, Connor and Aliyah. He touched everybody he met with his expressive "talking" and soul searching eyes. He lived a good life and will be missed.

Personal Notes

I have had alot of people ask me to tell Chinook's story & so,I will take you back,15 yrs to when I got a call from a friend saying she had a Siberian Husky pup who was to be put down because the owners no longer wanted him.He wasn't"show quality"-Jim & I had just talked about getting a puppy & we wanted a Husky& as luck had it,here was a Husky in need.BUT, we had to go & get him FAST as he was scheduled to be euthanized at 10a.m.in White Bear & it was 9:15. We(melissa & I) RACED to animal control only to get there AT 10 & told we were to late.I didnt give up & forced them to look for this dog.Again,as luck had it, he was on a table, being prepped & in I walk, collar & leash & it was like he KNEW I was there for him.He lept from the table as a worker came in the back door & out went Chinook,me fast behind yelling stop & do you know where he went?Right to the unknowing Auntie Lissa who waited by the car & leapt in her car as if to say "get me outta here!" And so began our life with Nook.

What a wonderful story about how your beautiful dog Chinook, picked you to look after him. He was one luck dog twice! Once when you saved him from a very short life and two when he joined such an obviously loving family. Condolences from Dublin Ireland.
