Monty- You were the best cat a person could ever ask for.  I remember the day we got you.  You were just hanging out in the cage not even trying to get our attention.  You had the biggest eyes, and I thought you were so handsome.  I knew you were the one.  You became my best buddy.  Sometimes i thought you were more dog than cat, because you would follow me around until i sat down so you could sit with me.  You would walk over other people to get to my lap.  When you sat in my lap you hated any movement and when i would have to move so that my legs wouldn't fall asleep you would meow like my moving was the most horrible thing.  I loved when you would sit in the chair next to me at the dining table as i ate my dinner.  You would just sit next to me and wait hoping to have some of what i had.  You were the only cat i have ever known who ate broccoli.  The best part of my day was giving you a hug and rubbing my face in your fur.  You were so soft and kind.  You knew when we were sick and would stay in bed with us the whole day.  Every night you would come to bed with us and you would lay on my chest while i pet you until i fell asleep.  You were so much more to me than a cat and i miss you so much.  You brought me so much love and joy.  Every day i am reminded of the hole in my life and heart that your passing has left.  You were truly one of a kind, i am so blessed to have had you in my life.  You will forever be loved and missed.  You were only in our life a few years, and they were some of the best.  I know you are on the other side giving your kind and gentle love to someone there who needs it.  I will never forget you. I love you always.
