Angel was always a sweetheart, and truly a People Kitty. She got her name because I found her in the parking lot of St. Michael the Archangel Church on a very cold Monday night in October of 1991. She was a very thin little kitten, but sweet and friendly. I tucked her inside my coat and brought her home (even though I already had a cat!) because I couldn't bear the thought of her freezing and maybe running out into Maynard Road. I ran ads in the paper to try to locate her owner, but after a week with no replies, it seemed she was ours. She endeared herself to everyone who met her. She loved lap time, drinking water from a kitty cup on the bathroom sink, and napping in sunbeams. She had a long and loving life of seventeen years, and we'll miss her greatly - but her gentle spirit will live on in our hearts.
