It is with a broken heart that I say that Sugar's sister Goldie died totally unexpected today. My best friend went to my house to let her out at dinner time to allow me to go on to church to get ready for a special Christmas program. She found her dead on my bed where she liked to sleep. My friend waited to tell me once I was back home that night. 



I adopted Goldie through PetSmart on August 23, 2006.  It was thought she was 3 years old.  This dog loved to be loved!!!  She came and joined a sister, Sugar.  They mostly tolerated each other.  When Sugar died on 3/30/08, Goldie began to come out of her shell.  While Sugar literally barked at everything, Goldie rarely barked at all.  If she did, you got up to check up was up with her.  She loved nothing more than for you to spend every waking hour petting her and loving on her.  She even started acting like a lap dog to get her "Momma love" while I watched TV at night.  She loved to ride in the car and I will miss her being with me when I leave next week for a long ride to Alabama for Christmas.



She had been a little sick the last few weeks, but nothing that would have ever led me to believe this would happen.  She leaves me with a empty heart and home and I will miss her a lot!
