We found you at a yard sale in April. All fuzzy and cute. I had to have you. You were beautiful with you little bandit mask and your blue eyes. The first night we had you home you were so little but you tried to beat up Bettie. That was so cute. You didn't stay little long, you grew up and your bandit mask went away, replaced with your lovely red fur and your satilette dish ears!

Your hair got everywhere and your Daddy nand I could not even leave the room without you following us. I called your our computer virus protection. You always laid right by us when we were on the computer. You loved it outside. You and your sister, Bettie, loved to run around the neighborhood. That was one of the things that always scared me. We live so close to the highway, I was always scared one of you would get run over and you did. You were looking for your sister, she was already home...you should have listened to Daddy, you should have come in when he called, but you didn't you had to find Bettie. You were so stubborn. I am sorry you had to die all alone right out side our door. I am sorry I didn't hear you.
I know you are in a better place, but I miss you and my heart is breaking. Find my grandpa and he will let you set on the porch with him in heaven.
We love you Bon-Bon!

Personal Notes

Death is nothing at all, I have only slipped away into the next room. I am I and you are you. Whatever we were to each other we still are. Call me by my old familiar name, speak to me in the easy way you always used. Why should I be out of your mind because I am out of your sight. All is well, nothing is lost. One brief moment and all will be as it was before. Condolences from Ireland.

Don't blame yourself. Sometimes, no matter how hard we try, we just can't save the ones we love most. I would never let my cat Tony out for fear he would catch a disease and guess what, he caught one anyway (he died 8/18/08)and no one knows how he caught it. I did blame myself but we have to learn to love the time we had with them, smile from the wonderful memories and remember the good times. Your baby knows that you loved him, remember that.

I understand your pain and hope in time your memories will bring joy without the pain. We are so blessed to have our pets in our lives, even when that time is too short. Bonnie Bear was fortunate to have you, and how lucky you were to have had Bonnie Bear.
