Bruce. 

You were sitting in your pen next to your pooh at Birmingham Dogs Home the first time we met. You looked so sad and we knew you were the one. 

You came home with us that day and settled straight in by digging a hole in the sofa and eating the post. 

Our family grew and you became big Brother to Luke, Jack and Beth. Our holidays in the caravan will not seem the same without you. 

You were always the first one to find your Christmas present under the tree and you always made us smile chasing it around trying to open it. I am so gonna miss that this year. 

Rest in peace my old buddy, We all miss you.

Personal Notes

Death is nothing at all, I have only slipped away into the next room. I am I and you are you. Whatever we were to each other we still are. Call me by my old familiar name, speak to me in the easy way you always used. Why should I be out of your mind because I am out of your sight. All is well, nothing is lost. One brief moment and all will be as it was before. Condolences from Ireland.
