I adopted you from Mrs. McGonigal who could not take care care of you due to her illness. You were shy and afraid and made quite a mess of my house, We put up with all your spraying the house and furniture, christening of my counters, toasters and radio, shoes etc and you slept with me everynight. Listened to my life never failing to offer love and companionship. We watched you grow more content with the other cats all but one and you never failed to cheer me up when I needed it. You were a kind gentle spirit never once did you harm any of us. I will never forgive myself for not going to the yard and bringing you in. I hope you are at peace and the cars tire took you swiftly as I did not know you were right next to the yard. I am sorry I did not feel your pain at impact. You were never street savy my furry friend and for that I am sorry. I will never forget your beautiful green eyes, your shimmering black back, your uniform stripes and white neck and paws. You were always so clean and smelled so good when you were warm and cozy beside me at night. I pray you are with Cotton now unafraid of the outdoors and street savy now. I see you everywhere today and miss you beside me. I love you Chookie Woo.
