Our family was in a time of need when my mom brought a blonde cocker spaniel home named Canelle. Her family didn't have time for her so my mom brought her home. She was timid and needy at first but grew to just be needy and cuddley by the end. Our family and her were attached by the hip. She was always there to listen or entertain. She taught us that every animals deserves a second chance. When Canelle got cancer it broke my families heart and we did all we could. Unfortunetly her cancer was agressive and we had to put her down a few days after her diagnoses. I still talk about her and show people pictures of her because I sometimes forget she's gone. She had such a presence in our home that its impossible to think of my childhood without thinking of her. So I just want to say that I miss my dog so much and I'm thankful for the time we spent together eating freezies and playing at the park.

I miss you smelly

Personal Notes

Death is nothing at all, I have only slipped away into the next room. I am I and you are you. Whatever we were to each other we still are. Call me by my old familiar name, speak to me in the easy way you always used. Why should I be out of your mind because I am out of your sight. All is well, nothing is lost. One brief moment and all will be as it was before. Condolences from Ireland.
