Mickey Mouse(Mousie) came into the world in 1990. After my parents' cat Spice passed away as a kitten, his brother Sugar was very lonely. Mouse was adopted from a local farm by my mom. He was part Maine Coon, agentle giant witha squaky meow. He had brwon tabby markings evrywheres except his muzzle and paws whuch were When I was born a few years later, Mousie LOVED me. He was me and my brother's 'guard cat'. He was truly my mom's cat. When she was sad or upset, he comforted her and made her calm. 



Mousie began having problems when my mom discovered a pinkish lump on his chest. Fearing the worst, she took to Dr. Hart's. It was a tumor.Sugar bit it open later we rushed Mouse to the vet to have it removed. After that ordeal a hematoma was found in his ear. It was also removed and the vet put a pink 'boot' on his back so he wouldn't scratch it. The funniest moment in this time was the day going to the vet to get the 'boot' off he had already gotten it off! It lay ratty and limp at the bottom of our basement steps. Mm and I had to laugh. Another day,,Mouse was looking very sickly. AGAIN my mom took him to the vet just to find out he had lymphoma. He went through chemotherapy and had IV needles stuck into his back.By the end of his life, he could barely walk. On July 29th, 2006, when Mom took to him to the vet one last time, he died in her arms in the waiting room. She called our phone in tears saying that he went. Me and my bro were BAWLING. We have four new furry babies now, but we'll NEVER EVER forget Mousie. We Love and Miss You Mousers and we'll see you on the Rainbow Bridge so we can go to heaven together!!!!
