We were so blessed to have such a sweet little girl in our lives. While we may have rescued her, she saved us. I wonder how all of us will continue without her. Cricket weighed in at only 5 pounds and she was definitely the BOSS in our house. She held her own with her two brothers, Tanner a 200 pound Great Dane, and Snickers a 10 pound Pomeranian. Even our two cats, Frick and Frack knew Cricket was the Princess. Cricket I miss you so much and love you more than you could ever know. Cricket left us because of a collapsed trachea, she couldn't hang on for her surgery. We miss you baby girl! Thank you for being the best little girl anyone could ever hope for and for keeping your brothers straight the last 5 years. You were my angel on earth and until we meet again.....

Personal Notes

Cricket, I hurt so much without you. A prettier little girl, inside and out, God never made. I miss your head beside me when I sleep, I miss your little yap when you wanted something, I miss your smiling face and wet kisses. Your Dad said he misses sharing his ice cream with you. You are the only one he let lick his spoon. I hope you know how much we all loved you and we miss you dearly.

I'm very sorry to hear about the loss of Cricket. She sounded like she was quite a character, the small ones always end up running the show! Cricket lived a very long time, she must have been so happy to have a big family and was loved so much. I share your grief and know how heartbroken you must be as I lost both my dogs within nine weeks of each other. They were such a huge presence around the house, just like your Cricket, they are really sorely missed. Deepest sympathies to Cricket's family.

I KNOW HOW YOU YOU FEEL. PEOPLE SOMETIMES JUST DONT REALIZE THAT ANIMAILS ARE NOT JUST PETS. THEY ARE OUR FURRY LITTTLE KIDS,THAT LOVE US NO MATTER WHO WE ARE OR HOW MUCH WE MAKE. THEY ARE ALWAYS THERE TO GREET US EVERY TIME WE COME THROUH THE DOOR EVEN IF IT IS JUST GOING OUT TO GET THE MAIL. I KNOW I WILL BE LOST WHEN IRISH GOES. SOMETIMES I CRY JUST THINKING ABOUT IT. YOU WILL SEE CRICKET WHEN YOU GO TO HEAVEN SHE WILL BE WAITING TO GREET LIKE SHE HAS IN THE PAST. LOVE ALWAYS KARRI, IRISH,SUNNY AND ASHLEE MY FURRY CHILDREN

Death is nothing at all, I have only slipped away into the next room. I am I and you are you. Whatever we were to each other we still are. Call me by my old familiar name, speak to me in the easy way you always used. Why should I be out of your mind because I am out of your sight. All is well, nothing is lost. One brief moment and all will be as it was before. Condolences from Ireland.

In Loving Memory of Cricket

Our animals do become family members. They provide joy, laughter and comfort with no strings attached.

I referred to Cricket so many times as "Little Miss Prissy". Female she was in every sense of the word.

You could always count on her to greet you as you entered her home. She had the cutest litlle wriggle as she came to you. If her brothers tried to participate before she was finished "getting loved on" she let them know in no uncertain terms.

Cricket will be missed so much and loved forever by those of us who knew her.

May we all who own and love our pets give them the credit due them. There is nothing in this world better than being loved and there are no other living beings more loving than our pets.

I will always remember and love you Cricket.

I first want to thank you for your kind words on the loss of my 2 cats and will pass along the same with you guys and your loss of your puppy dog. No one ever trains us how to deal with this stuff so its nice to know that at least were not alone in our grief and other pet owners out here can relate to exactly how were feeling.
