Lucy Sue was part of our family for 20 years we didnt own her-she owned us! She was always a very comical cat, as a kitten she would crawl into the kitchen cupboards and get herself stuck-we wouldnt know that she was there until we heard a loud meoux! Many a times during our family sunday dinner she would climb up to the table and put her paws on our dinner-whilst we were still eating! Sue had a very pampered life, we would spoil her with fresh meat and fish every day, warm beds and constant attention. She was a real lap cat, and enjoyed staying indoors sleeping or washing herself in front of the fire this was when she was at her happiest She was always pleased to see us when we would arrive home, the first thing we would do is to find her and kiss her furry head and ears(even if she was asleep at the time!)She always made us smile-even if we were in a bad mood During her last year with us she just sleeped and due to old age ,became senile .She didnt recognise her own family any more, she had deteriorated very quickly in her last few weeks with us- we knew she had given up. It was unfair for her to suffer although she was loved so much, we wanted her to keep her dignity We took her to the vets, and they put Lucy Sue to sleep Sleep well my princess, you will never be forgotten
