Our Zues nicknamed zooey was not just any dog he was our kid and JJ's bestest friend and brother. Our "protecter". Zooey was the biggest German Shepard that I personally have ever ever seen about 115 lbs approx. He loved to be with us always trying to sleep in the bed and every night it would start off great but when he rolled my goodness that dog took up the ENTIRE bed so he would always end up on the floor right next to us, because i roll too! JJ would dress him up every now and then in a mask or some sort of thing and play with him everyday, and zues would allow his family to do anything to him no matter how uncomfortable just as long as he was with us! Zues' favorite pleasure was to swim in the lake sometimes for the entire day. He always tried to eat the water and bark at it for not allowing him to take chunks out of it. He never could get that water to stay still so he could eat it, sometimes barking at it for a straight 2 hours that was always fun. All of a sudden one day zues didnt want to walk or do much of anything he went right away to the vet hospital because zues was always full of energy! He had to be carried in, we soon found out he had some sort of tumor and prepped him right away for emergency surgery. Zues didnt make it through anestisia, he went brain dead. John and I held him as he passed. It was quick and out of nowhere we were not prepared in the least bit. Zooey we love sooo very much and hope you are taking a long car ride everyday and we think of you always!
