Una was a West Highland White Terrier. She moved several times, eventually finding herself a home with her family in Sydney. She was spoilt rotten, her nickname was Queen Una.
Everyday she would lie on the step and look out the window. We would have to step over her, she was too stubborn to move. She slept about 20 hours of the day. Her only active periods were at meals and just after she woke up, and they didn't last long.
It is amazing how many people she affected during her short existence. Many people have now cried over her, and many more still will. She was loved by all but none more than her family.

She will ALWAYS be remembered, not as a pet, but as part of the family.

Personal Notes

Death is nothing at all, I have only slipped away into the next room. I am I and you are you. Whatever we were to each other we still are. Call me by my old familiar name, speak to me in the easy way you always used. Why should I be out of your mind because I am out of your sight. All is well, nothing is lost. One brief moment and all will be as it was before. Condolences from Ireland.
