He loved chicken...being the southern man he is!
Boiled chicken with his dry food. He did like liver..he was no veggie man..(wa) He loved to go on walks
in Ga and Ca. he played hard but was a lap dog. I loved him unconditional.
He came in my backyard in Ga in 2002. He was 4 months old..a breeder's son left the garage door open and he and his mom ran away. Rocky ended up in my yard. Since I had a pot belly pig, calico cat, and a shiatsu this was the place we called home.
Rocky went to vets and needed a mussel for his nails to be done. He was no sissy!
He loved to sit and run the neighborhood will load barks that scare the bad guys.

Personal Notes

Hi Theresa,

Just saw the memorial. What a nice thing for your friend in Georgia to do. I know that your dog meant a lot to you and it must be comforting for you to know that other people care as well!!

Love Ya always,
Dawnne

Hello Theresa,

This is a wonderful tribute to your pet, Rocky. You are a true animal lover. I wish that I was not as fearful of animals as I am. Before my father passed away, he taught me how to be less fearful of the new cat that they adopted. I am able to pet her now and it's just wonderful. Until that point I would never touch a cat for the fear of it's claws and sharp teeth (I am sure you remember how I was when I would visit you all in Georgia). I still have some fear of cats that I don't know, but I have improved greatly. My Mom's cat in named Princess and she loves me and of course, I love her. Maybe one day I will get a kitten and raise it too.

Dear Theresa, we both know how much this wonderful memorial means to you. Rocky was a great guy, and a faithful friend for the short time you had him. We know you will miss him greatly, but remember how brave and still fierce he was, right to the last. I think you said the vet said he still needed a muzzle! We will all miss him through you. All our love & thoughts are with you.
