Dear Friends & Family, It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we tell you our beloved Bear is gone. For those of you who are closest to us, you know that Bear was more to us than just a dog. He was our first baby who brought us happiness and love every single day in the 7 years he was here. Everyone who knew Bear loved him. It was his gentle soul that drew so many to him. His last days and moments leading up to his death were filled with love, happiness and compassion. He passed peacefully at home last night with me hugging him and his head cradled in Damon’s lap. The picture below was taken three weeks ago shortly before he was diagnosed with an untreatable cancer and the photo really captures the essence of our beautiful Bear.
