Opi loved to lay on the couch; he was a real "lazy bones Jones." He would howl whenever we said the word "Chewbacka" and loved everything StarWars. Some days he wouldn't eat his food until we put 'special' in it, like broth or warm water.

From the moment he met my son, he was destined to be our dog. He loved us unconditionally, even when we went away on vacation. He paitently waited for us to come home and greeted us with such love.

There is a great big empty spot on the couch now. The house seems rather empty and I miss him with all my heart.

I love you Opi.

Personal Notes

Death is nothing at all, I have only slipped away into the next room. I am I and you are you. Whatever we were to each other we still are. Call me by my old familiar name, speak to me in the easy way you always used. Why should I be out of your mind because I am out of your sight. All is well, nothing is lost. One brief moment and all will be as it was before. Condolences from Ireland.

Hi im sorry for your loss of your dog Opi.I lost my dog Sam almost a month ago and I can relate to your loss.I had Sam for 13 years and like Opi he loved the sofa.He got sick with cancer and I had to make the hardest decision I ever made to put him to sleep,it broke my heart.I hope Opi and Sam are playing together till we meet them again.
