Riley came to us at 5 months of age--an unexpected gift and blessing to our family!  Being a cat family, we had much to learn about dogs and their care.  But Riley's gentle, loving, and friendly spirit quickly made us aware that he was no pet--he was family!  Even our cat adored him!  Riley was pure unconditional love.  How lucky we were to know him and to have him as part of our family.  

Though we only had him for a year after his diagnoses of Addison's Disease and Auto-Immune Hemolytic Disorder, we are grateful for every moment with him.  He will remain in our hearts always. and we will carry his memory with us until we can be together again.

We love you, Riley, and we always will!

Personal Notes

We miss you so much, sweet boy. The house feels so empty without you. Your feline friend, Spencer, won't even look outside now that you aren't here to watch. Still, we take comfort in knowing we did everything we could to take care of you and make your life better. We love you so much, Riley. We count on seeing you again one day.

Im sorry for your loss of your lovely dog Riley.I can relate to your loss as I lost my dog Sam three weeks ago.I had him for 13 years and I had to make the hardest decision to put him to sleep as he had cancer and I could not let him suffer.He was my best friend.I hope Riley and Sam are playing together till we meet them again

Im so sorry you lost your beloved pet on Friday 13th. I hope he is up there with my kitty Zali and I wish you good luck rebuilding your heart from your terrible loss.

Death is nothing at all, I have only slipped away into the next room. I am I and you are you. Whatever we were to each other we still are. Call me by my old familiar name, speak to me in the easy way you always used. Why should I be out of your mind because I am out of your sight. All is well, nothing is lost. One brief moment and all will be as it was before. Condolences from another King Charles loving family in Ireland.
