It has been one year since the passing of our Boxer "Buddy" Duke. He was 6 years old when he passed due to complications from a MINOR surgery to remove benign tumors from his gums. I personally have been very heartbroken since his passing because he was like my best friend. He never judged and always loved.

Duke was such a lovey-dovey. He would let us hug him anytime we wanted and he was always by our side. He was a very playful puppy that would chew and swallow everything in site. I had the evidence to prove it.

When he got older he was a protector. He would follow me to whatever room I was in and lay beside me. Most of the time he would lay on my feet. I remember him peeking through the laundry room door at me into the kitchen. I caught my new Boxer puppy Brady trying to do that same thing a few days ago but he is still too short to see anything. Sometimes when I look at my new puppy I remember Duke because he looks a lot like him and has a lot of the same mannerisms.

Though I had two other dogs at the time he was always my favorite and I still miss him very much.

We will never forget you "Buddy". We love you very much!!! R.I.P.
