Musetta was a pirate girl...or so she appeared. In character, she was Musetta from La Boheme's "Quando M'en Vo" aria. Everyone thought her beautiful but she was capricious, petulant, and imperious. She did not cuddle, but allowed us (the staff) to love on her-- up the growl point. She was born in a barn in the county and Elaine Jones tried for weeks to find a home for her. Finally, on a Sunday morning, in exasperation, Elaine brought her to our house and we were smitten. A small furball with enormous bright eyes. With two other cats, she did not have a lot of space to come to her own, but the last year, without menacing brother G. Thanks, she bloomed. We will miss her and are very sad. What will we do with the time it took to serve her- turning water on in her favorite sink, giving treats for appropriate scratching upon her post, playing ping-pong? Brokenhearted, Matt and Sharon (Matt's note follows.)
