Fred was a beautiful cat and a very loving cat. We adopted him from the Shelter when he was a kitten and although he had many problems at first he adjusted to home life very well. He proved to be a great companion and a great comfort to us during our times of need. Fred got sick in October of 2007 but we had no idea how serious it was until February 2008n when he refused to eat and was exhibiting what we thought were cold symptoms. After a visit to the Vet and many tests it was determined he had Lung Cancer. There was nothing that could be done for this precious baby and when it appeared the time had come to make a decision I wanted to be with him. The Dr. brought him to me wrapped in a blue blanket and I spent some time with him holding him, kissing and telling him we loved him. He passed away peacefully in my arms on 2/13/08. I will always miss him. Sadly his owner (my sister) passed away 2 weeks later. Rest in Peace Fred! You earned it.
