I got Gus for my 13th birthday.  We were best buds from the start.  He was my baby.  Gus learned to play fetch early on, but his favorite game was chasing the milk carton around the house.  He would put the lid in his mouth and toss it up in the air.  This would continue until the lid came off.  Gus loved to go for walks, but car rides were his favorite!  I do not remember too many times that Gus was not by my side.  Two years ago I had back suregery and was confined to bed for a year.  He never left my side.  He would follow me everywhere I went even in the bathroom.  I had Gus for 16 of my 29 years of life.  I feel lost without him right now, he was truly a friend!  I will miss his hyperness, barking, and kisses. Gus, I love you and you will be missed!!!!!
