I have some very sad news to pass on yesterday February 9th at 3:15pm. Osso my dog my best friend was put down. Three weeks ago he was showing signs of weight loss I started him on a all meat Alpo dog food and restarted his worm treatment but not showing any signs of improvement I took Osso to Banfield Pet Hospital. His diagnosis was a CARDIAC MURMUR from 1 to 6 he was a 6 he also showed signs of internal bleeding from a ruptured vessel caused by a cancerous tumor. Osso came in to my life over ten years ago thinking he was a Chihuahua because of his big ears but his head was like a baby bear so that's how he got his name Osso for bear in Spanish. We also called him pappas, obear, peppto and houdini because he loved to escape. He just keeped growing and growing as it turns out he was a Welch Corgi. No matter how big my yard was Osso did not like to be fenced in he would always find ways to escape out to the real world for adventure if you look up the word Ad-ven-ture in the dictionary it says: an undertaking involving danger and unknown or remarkable experience we could all use a little of that in our lives. I would always get calls from Jonestown dog pound that Osso was picked up they knew him by name and my number by heart like always I would get him out of jail. Osso and I moved to Austin and with all the high traffic, people and two fences he would still escape and good at covering his tracks I would get calls from strangers that they had Osso and like always he would be laying there like he was their pet. Everyone who met him loved him. Osso is finally free.he will truly be missed. Rudy.
